Our client is one of the leading global investment firms that specializes in providing comprehensive investment services to high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients. They are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with a deep understanding of investment services and a strong technical background to join their dynamic team.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with front office teams, including portfolio managers, traders, and the CIO, to understand their data & reporting needs and investment strategies.
  • Work with the technical team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to produce accurate and timely monthly reports.
  • Investigate and assess current reporting processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring that deliverables meet business requirements and are completed on time.
  • Maintain strong relationships with high-level stakeholders and high-net-worth individuals, effectively communicating complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Apply domain knowledge of investment services, such as hedge funds, wealth advisory, and private equity, to provide insights and recommendations that align with industry best practices.
  • Leverage advanced data analysis and visualization techniques to streamline reporting and drive data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a business analysis role within the investment services industry.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel (VBA), SQL, Python, and data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
  • In-depth understanding of investment services, with domain knowledge in hedge funds, wealth advisory, or private equity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
  • Experience working with high-level stakeholders and high-net-worth individuals.
  • CFA designation or progress towards obtaining the CFA is highly desirable, but not required.
