Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Supervisor Technician, you will lead our maintenance team, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are performed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role involves overseeing apartment maintenance, handling service requests, and managing grounds and common area upkeep.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for a large apartment community (300+ units).
  • Perform and oversee appliance repairs, service requests, and apartment preparation.
  • Order parts and maintain safe working conditions.
  • Ensure effective maintenance of GE appliances and HVAC systems.
  • Manage on-site maintenance tasks and computer-based operations.
  • Be available for on-call emergencies and participate in all required training.


Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of one year of experience as an apartment maintenance supervisor in a large community.
  • Strong knowledge of grounds and common area maintenance.
  • Expertise in appliance repairs and HVAC systems.
  • Familiarity with GE appliances and possession of Universal EPA certification.
  • Proficient computer skills and on-site maintenance knowledge preferred.
  • Strong leadership and training abilities with a customer-focused attitude.


Certifications:

  • Universal EPA certification type II required.
  • HVAC certification required.
  • CPO (swimming pool) certification required within 90 days of employment; company will cover testing if not currently certified. Existing CPO certification is a plus.


Position Requirements:

  • Option to live on property or at a sister community with significant rent discounts.
  • Availability for on-call after-hours emergencies.
  • Drug testing and background checks are mandatory.
  • Dependable, punctual, proactive, and able to work well with others.
  • Enthusiastic with a positive attitude and reliable transportation.
