Job Summary:

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking a skilled Maintenance Clerk to join our team at Bradshaw State Jail. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing clerical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform varied duties including data entry, work requests, and preventative maintenance information.
Receive, record, and distribute work orders to maintenance staff as directed by the supervisor.
Maintain files on department records, forms, and correspondence sent, received, and/or requiring further action.
Schedule vendors as directed by the supervisor to perform work outside the scope of facility staff.
Maintain perpetual inventory control on materials and supplies in the appropriate tracking system.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent or GED required.
One (1) year related experience, including proficiency with various word processing, spreadsheets, data bases, and computer data entry experience required.
Valid driver's license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
