We are seeking an Inside Sales Intern who is strongly motivated to assist the Sales Team in place and contribute to the international growth of our company. The ideal candidate helps building sales leads, doing contract-closing tasks, filling-out administrative documents, monitoring EDI platforms and eventually assists in closing deals. The candidate leverages emails, calls, and social selling tools to identify credible sales opportunities for our experienced sales team.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare prospects and leads lists with tools like Zoom Info, LinkedIn, Google … to help the sales team in finding new customers.
  • Follow up on leads and referrals generated through prospecting efforts.
  • Contribute to the overall sales strategy.
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through exemplary service.
  • This role involves occasional local travel, including to surrounding areas, with infrequent business-related trips.
  • Attend relevant industry trade shows when necessary.
  • Manage the setup and maintenance of new online platforms.
  • Assist in creating effective sales presentations.
  • Report to the Chief Operating Officer.


Requirements:


  • On-site presence at our Santa Barbara office; not a full-time remote position.
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
  • Strong work ethic with a focus on achieving growth and performance goals.
  • Excellent time-management skills and efficiency.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Adaptability to an international environment and small team dynamics.
  • Capacity to work independently.
  • Experience with sales systems, such as online order entry, sales metrics dashboards, or CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Bilingual proficiency, preferably in Spanish or another language.
