ERP Sales Engineer

Due to continuing growth, our team is looking for an ERP Sales Engineer to help drive faster sales cycles and deliver best-in-class client demos. In this role, you will work with key leadership to develop relationships yielding a strong client pipeline, work with third parties to generate new leads, design and deliver technical ERP demos, and scope, price, and design new client projects.

What you will do:
- Bring to bear a comprehensive understanding of ERP systems (Sage 100, Sage Intacct, Sage X3, Acumatica, and competitors) and keep abreast of upcoming product releases.
- Qualify leads from marketing activities as sales opportunities, as well as identify add-on sales opportunities with existing clients.
- Conduct high-level conversations with prospective clients by articulating the value proposition of various ERP systems and how our team can help.
- Setup QDCs (qualified discovery calls) and demos with prospects and Account Executives/Sales leaders
- Attend client demos and sales meetings, then draft project proposals including pricing, timelines, statements of work, etc.
- Develop and improve lead qualification using established criteria and bespoke solutions as you and the team evolve.
- Work closely with Marketing to create Vertical and Replacement campaigns, messaging with supporting sales tools.
- Provide weekly reporting on leads, conversion to qualified prospects, and add-on sales opportunities.
- Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of Process, Efficiency and Productivity.
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, or another computer-related field is required
- Either: 5+ years of experience as an implementation or support consultant for an ERP system (any Sage solution, NetSuite, Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) OR 5+ years of experience in B2B telemarketing, sales development or inside sales management, preferably in business applications
- Proven ability to develop a prospect pipeline and engagement of C-Level Executives or key decision makers within Finance and IT business functions.
- Familiarity with a CRM system
- High business acumen, analytical skills and understanding of sales pipeline is a must.
- Excellent presentation and listening skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts.
- Strong relationship-building skills and overall comprehension (or willingness to learn) of sales cycles.
- Knowledge of Financial Applications or complementary solutions is preferred.
