Executive Assistant to the President

They are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to the President to support day-to-day operations. As the Executive Assistant to the President, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the President's office in conjunction with the Chief of Staff and an administrative assistant.

Executive Assistant to the President Responsibilities:

  • Full ownership of the President's calendar, prioritizing tasks and troubleshooting issues as they arise
  • Direct management of the President's email inbox, including scheduling, prioritization and communication on her behalf
  • Act as a crucial liaison between the President's office and various stakeholders
  • Manage inbound communications, respond on behalf of the President when necessary and collaborate with other executives
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the President's office, establishing effective systems, processes and quality control measures
  • Ensure the President and meeting participants are equipped with pertinent background information and briefings
  • Manage senior relationships and associated assignments on behalf of the President's office
  • Interact with members of the senior leadership team, board members and donors involved in high-impact projects
  • Assist with special projects, events and initiatives as assigned by the Chief of Staff.
  • Coordinate logistics for events, including dinners, parties, networking and personal


Executive Assistant to the President Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate must be open to traveling with the President 2-3 times a quarter
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7+ years of experience in a professional/executive setting
  • 5+ years of experience partnering with C-suite executives
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate issues and resolve independently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and complete assignments under pressure
  • Professional presence to interact with faculty and external constituents
  • Utmost discretion with confidential information
