The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire food and beverage department, including the main restaurant, all-day dining, pool and beach services, banquets, special events, in-room dining, and external vendor partnerships. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this individual will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, enhancing the guest experience, and developing strategic marketing initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the main restaurant, all-day dining, pool and beach services, banquets, special events, and in-room dining
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive revenue growth and increase profitability
  • Foster strong relationships with external vendors and negotiate contracts for events and services
  • Coach, mentor, and train restaurant managers, chefs, and staff to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to develop and execute marketing initiatives that promote the food and beverage offerings
  • Provide financial oversight and management of the food and beverage department's budget
  • Present monthly reports to ownership highlighting key performance indicators, financials, and operational metrics
  • Develop and maintain relationships with ownership to ensure alignment with the company's overall vision and goals
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures


Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in a senior food and beverage leadership role in a luxury, lifestyle, or boutique hotel or resort
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing the guest experience
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and ability to develop creative marketing initiatives
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills, with experience in developing high-performing teams
  • Ability to work effectively with external vendors and negotiate contracts
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in financial analysis and budgeting
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tell the story factually and creatively
  • Familiarity with Miami's hospitality market is a plus
  • Must be a US Citizen


Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple food and beverage outlets
  • Knowledge of local suppliers and vendors
  • Certification in food safety or hospitality management (e.g. HACCP, ServSafe)
