Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the successful on-site installation of video surveillance, access control, and IT projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, exceptional organizational skills, and extensive experience with security and IT systems. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, with a significant presence on the project site to ensure quality, coordination, and timely communication.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Project Planning and Initiation:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues.
  • Prepare and present project proposals to stakeholders.


2.On-Site Project Execution and Monitoring:

  • Oversee the on-site installation of video surveillance, access control, and IT systems.
  • Coordinate and manage the work of on-site team members, including technicians, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor on-site project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify the quality of work and adherence to project specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Address any on-site issues or challenges promptly to minimize disruptions.

3.Quality Control and Assurance:

  • Conduct regular quality checks and site inspections.
  • Ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
  • Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform final quality checks and facilitate project handover to clients.

4.Client and Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Address client concerns and provide timely resolutions.
  • Conduct project review meetings with clients and stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.

5.Budget and Resource Management:

  • Manage project budgets, including cost estimates and financial tracking.
  • Approve project expenditures and ensure cost control.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
  • Allocate resources effectively and optimize utilization.

6.Team Leadership and Coordination:

  • Lead and motivate project team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members as needed.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination among team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in construction, physical security installation, or related industry or a bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, IT, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a project manager in construction, video surveillance, access control, or IT projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness and ability to spend significant time on-site.
  • Knowledge of security systems, access control, and IT infrastructure preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Combination of remote and field work. 10% of time may be required to drive to our corporate office in Florence, SC to work with teams in person.
  • Frequent travel to project sites and client locations.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to work in varying site conditions.
