We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Project Manager III to join our team at Regal Rexnord Corp. As a key member of our Industrial Powertrain Solutions segment, you will be responsible for driving strategic manufacturing projects across North America.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and lead complex manufacturing operations projects through the entire project lifecycle, including business case development, project objectives and scope, budgeting, risk management, and timeline planning.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to assess the newly formed product portfolio and create a prioritized funnel of opportunities for product line simplification.
- Lead cross-functional projects and drive alignment across various initiatives within the Industrial Powertrain Solutions segment.
- Design and deploy visual management systems to track project status and key metrics, utilizing multiple levels of planning and management tools to reinforce accountability and clarify individual ownership.
- Develop and manage the overall project work breakdown structure and integrated master schedule to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to scope.
- Develop critical path analysis and identify means to accelerate timelines, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
- Actively communicate and mitigate issues before they impact the project, protecting the critical path and escalating with urgency when necessary.
- Develop and deploy detailed integration program plans, aligning required teams and resources to execute based on program plans.
- Guide project teams to meet Stage Gate Exit commitment dates while ensuring adherence to Gate Exit Process, deliverable completion, and Gate Exit approval thresholds.
- Apply the company's project framework for preparation of detailed project plans, facilitating team meetings, defining formal stage gates, and communicating project status to multiple levels of the Division organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of project management experience with complex, cross-functional, and multi-site teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience with and knowledge of APQP, Design for Lean Six Sigma, waterfall, and/or agile project management.
- Project management certification (PMP, PMI) is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with project management scheduling tools such as MS Project is desired.
