Job Summary

The Manufacturing Project Manager III is a key role within Regal Rexnord's Industrial Powertrain Solutions segment, responsible for driving strategic manufacturing projects across North America. This individual contributor position will focus on operational optimization, Lean/Six Sigma practices, cost savings, and product line simplification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead complex manufacturing operations projects through the entire project lifecycle, including business case development, project objectives, scope, budget, risks, timelines, and material scheduling.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to assess the newly formed product portfolio and create a prioritized funnel of product line simplification opportunities.
  • Design and deploy visual management to track project status and key metrics, utilizing multiple levels of planning and management tools to reinforce accountability and clarify individual ownership.
  • Develop and manage the overall project work breakdown structure and integrated master schedule to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to scope.
  • Recommend countermeasures to course correct off-track projects and develop critical path analysis to accelerate timelines, reduce cost, and mitigate risk.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of project management experience with complex, cross-functional, and multi-site teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience with and knowledge of APQP, Design for Lean Six Sigma, waterfall, and/or agile project management.
  • Project management certification (PMP, PMI) is preferred.
