I am currently partnered with a rapidly growing Biotech looking to bring on a experienced - VP Clinical Development - Hematology to work on their current phase 2/3 programs within rare blood disorders.


With the role being remote with some travel or, if local to Boston can be hybrid - you'll be reporting into a exceptional leader with the opportunity to work on a late stage program with the potential to take the product to market.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute phase 1 to 3 protocols for current clinical programs and other pipeline molecules.
  • Engage with KOL's and investigators in advisory boards or clinical studies.
  • Efficiently collaborates with global cross-functional team members
  • Collaborates with study team(s) to generate meaningful data outputs and interpretations of data
  • Mentors more junior medical directors and clinical scientists across the oncology clinical development team and delegates as appropriate
  • Contributes to cross-functional initiatives within Oncology or clinical development initiatives in the company,
  • Actively participates in study/site start-up activities along with Medical Monitoring and data cleaning, aside from providing general clinical support to current clinical trial study team(s) in site trainings and engagements.


Requirements:


  • MD - Hematology trained preferred but not a must
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in hematology clinical development
  • Clinical hematology experience in academic or community setting and experience in immunotherapy preferred
  • Must have experience managing direct reports at the senior level
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time domestically and internationally
