Description:
We're working with a top food/beverage/grocery distributor in the Atlanta area in search of a high-caliber Sr. Director of Operations. Candidates that have multi site experience will have the upper hand. Leading high-volume warehouse and transportation operations is a must (ideally a private fleet).
The Sr. Director will have 7 direct reports and 200 total employees across multiple distribution centers. Candidates must be open to travel requirements over 50%.
Responsibilities:
- Plans, directs, and oversees all warehouse/transportation functions
- Full P&L and budget responsibilities
- Offers a strong continuous improvement or lean six sigma background
- Looking for a hands on leader that's looking for a challenge and can influence culture
Skills/Abilities/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent management experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- Excellent leadership and development abilities
