Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment and machinery. This role requires expertise in diesel engines, hydraulics, and construction equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and timely project completion.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and techniques in heavy equipment repair.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and heavy equipment systems.
  • Familiarity with Cummins engines and large trucks.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Technical certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
