We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at our rental facility in Phoenix, AZ. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and repair for a variety of customer and company-owned heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
  • Assist in the training of lower-level technicians as needed
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed
  • Assist with the delivery and pickup of equipment and parts
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and education

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in equipment rental mechanic experience
  • Shop Foreman or Lead Mechanic experience preferred
  • Trade school certificate preferred
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
  • Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times
  • This is a safety-sensitive position, and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen
