Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Uses bilingual skills to translate medical information between staff and patients
  • Registers patients by collecting and verifying demographics, insurance, and other essential information.
  • Greets, directs, and assists patients to facilitate prompt and polite care.
  • Answers calls to schedule appointments, take messages, and handle patient matters.
  • Prepares records for visits by reviewing EMR and chart contents.
  • Handles insurance inquiries, assists with referrals, and completes paperwork for timely exam charge submission.
  • Processes and distributes written communication and documents accurately.
  • Provides age-specific care to ensure patient understanding and comfort.


Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm


Location:

  • Methodist Physicians Clinic-Family & Internal Medicine, 680 Medical Park Drive, Fremont, NE


Salary:

  • $16.50-$26.40, based on work history/experience


Job Qualifications:

  • Must be bilingual.
  • Strong verbal communication skills for positive interaction with staff and customers in person and over the phone.
  • Skilled in operating a computer, including a computer mouse/keyboard, and navigating scheduling, registration, and patient care applications.
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (G.E.D.) required.
  • 6 months of previous customer service experience preferred.
