Direct Hire; up to 110K + bonus
Downtown Houston
Duties:
- Support well operations, drilling activities, and audit obligations
- Interface with drilling, production, facilities, development, and planning personnel to identify site locations
- Prepare, submit, and track regulatory paperwork
- Order and track resource surveys
- Collaborate in preparation of drilling schedule
- Ensure all annual updates, renewals, and reports are submitted to state and local municipal entities
- Review, summarize, and provide internal guidance regarding permit conditions of approval
- Provide support and assistance to management and operations teams regarding required permitting actions, project status, and potential challenges; represent co. at on-site visits
- Keep company informed of changes to permit requirements to ensure compliance
- Inform drilling and production personnel of applicable regulations impacting activities
- Maintain regulatory records and paperwork
- Interact with state and federal government agencies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in field OR comparable relevant experience
- 5 years of relevant oil & gas experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fast-paced thriving environment; flexible, accommodating, and able to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Team player, collaborative, and excellent communication and follow through
