Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site entry level role at FGX located in Livingston, NJ. You'll be working at one of FGX's transfer facility warehouses, right in the heart of our operation. You'll learn everything about our business, from how shipments are executed, to how a premium service is delivered to enterprise buyers, and more. As a Project Manager Warehouse Associate (PMW), you'll be a key member of our team that ensures shipments can be properly checked-in, manifested, and exported from our facility. No prior experience in logistics is necessary, as you'll learn everything you need to do on the job. The only soft traits you'll need to succeed in this role is an attitude of accountability, attention to detail, and to be a team player. Here are a list of key activities you'll be performing and assisting with:


  • PMWs are ultimately responsible for the “Check In” and “FGX Manifest” stages for each shipment that they’re assigned to. These are shipments that will come to an FGX facility.
  • Obtaining and monitoring all outstanding tracking numbers for shipments bound for an FGX facility.
  • Booking collection with our network of carriers and preparing all of the relevant information and documentation for a smooth pick up.
  • Booking insurance coverage with our providers and documenting it within our system.
  • Performing a material manifest for shipments that have been checked-in to an FGX facility.
  • Maintaining accurate data for our manifest process to ensure our Project Management Operations (PMO) team and our customers have a clear picture of their shipment's progress.
  • Helping finalize the FGX Manifest report to the customer and ensures a smooth hand off to our PMO team.
  • Working with other contributors in the Warehouse Operations team to ensure that the shipments are labeled and packed accordingly, based on the customer and country requirements.


Must Be Able To:

  • Come into our warehouse facility in Livingston, NJ everyday.
  • Lift, carry, and open boxes for the FGX Manifest process, up to 51 lbs. Although this isn't a core part of the PMW job, there will be times where the team requires more hands on deck.
  • Learn how to use a pallet jack and fork lift. Although this isn't a core part of the PMW job, there will be times where the team requires more hands on deck.


Qualifications:

  • 0 to 2 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Project Management skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Hours:

Monday through Friday 9am to 6pm with a break for lunch.
