Project Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to oversee a prestigious construction project. This project involves the development of a new 5-level, 90,000-square-foot building with a budget of approximately $80 million. The project is scheduled to start around December with enabling/site/utilities work, followed by the main building construction in the spring of 2025.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle from initiation to completion.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and codes.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction activities and ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
  • Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project issues.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8-10+ years in a project management preferred.
  • Education: Prior experience in education sector projects is preferred. Relevant commercial experience is also acceptable.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is preferred.
