Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Transmission team at Eversource. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing large CAPEX transmission construction projects in Connecticut, ensuring all phases of approved projects are completed efficiently and within scope, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage traditional projects requiring close stakeholder interaction, such as large substation construction projects, new transmission line projects, major transmission facility expansion projects, or projects of medium/high complexity.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion, within budget, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and manage project change control management processes.
  • Coordinate the development of detailed project budgets and cash flow, and manage monthly maintenance and reporting of project scope, budgets, and schedules.
  • Manage the development of comprehensive siting and permitting needs assessments, and participate in required regulatory siting, permit filings, and other regulatory filings.
  • Ensure timely preparation of ISO-NE project submittals, and manage the development and evaluation of bid documents for engineering, design, construction, and test procurement of material and support systems.
  • Manage project close out in a timely manner to support corporate business goals, and provide clear, concise, and comprehensive reports for management.
Requirements
  • 10 years of related experience, including at least 3 years of Project Management experience.
  • Experience in the construction of transmission lines is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred) or a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or an equivalent degree will be considered or equivalent experience.
  • Master's Degree is preferred; Project Management class work is desirable.
What We Offer

Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program, including a salary range of $135,000 to $154,000, plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in an office environment, with occasional travel to project sites and stakeholder locations. The successful candidate must be available to work emergency restoration assignments as required, and must be able to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
