Continuous Improvement Manager

We are looking for someone who has been a “lean Implementer” and not necessarily just exposed to the concepts. Someone who has brought an organization from 0 to 100 in the past. Knows and can see / predict the risks, challenges, and how to manage them. Someone being able to coach and mentor the team continuously raising the bar in our development and capabilities as a team. Communicating a clear path / roadmap and holding accountability to its milestones. Being well versed in the CI tool kits both using their applications in various scenarios and having the ability to teach the concepts. A person who is hands on that can roll up their sleeves and not only tell / teach people what good looks like but being able to get out on the floor and guide them to SEE what good looks like.

- Just a strong natural desire to win. Someone who gains genuine satisfaction by obtaining the outcomes they help the teams facilitate and needs to dive into the details when we miss to understand how we succeed next time.
- Displays a strong Can-Do Attitude: Person who is excited by the challenge of solving the problems and driving change. Who is not afraid to really dive in and tackle a BHAG with enthusiasm. Will never accept we can’t do something but can identify a potential path and accept we as an organization may make the business decision to not do something.
- Collaborative: Demonstrated ability to create & direct high function teams. Clearly communicate goals, objectives, expectations to all team members as well as any interested parties and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3+ years of work experience which demonstrates exposure to change management and lean implementation required.
- Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC Approach, & Kaizen).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, project management software).
- Individual must be authorized to work in the U.S. under one of the following criteria: 1. A citizen of the United States, 2. A lawful permanent resident, 3. A non-citizen National of the United States.
