Job Title: Electrical Equipment Engineering Manager

 

Summary: The Equipment and Electrical Engineering Manager at CIG Solar Manufacturing is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and operation of all equipment within the manufacturing plant. This role ensures that all equipment function optimally to support production efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of all equipment and facilities.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and protocols.
  • Manage the maintenance and facility staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering(preferred), Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment and facility management.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of CAD, Factory Electrical Design, Construction and other required fields related to factory utility.
  • Experience in determining all the requirements of a new factory, from the initial installation stage to installing the machines and bringing them to mass production and fulfilling the necessary action and activity plans by working in coordination with external companies when necessary.
  • Able to manage relevant purchasing activities when necessary.
  • Experience in TPM and learn manufacturing practices related to high-speed equipment.
  • Experience of spare part and budget management.
  • Assembly line experience in the Solar, FMCG or automotive industries is a plus.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):

  1. SOP for Equipment and Facility Maintenance:
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all equipment and facilities.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections.
  • Document all maintenance activities and equipment status.
  • Address any equipment or facility issues promptly.
  1. SOP for Staff Management:
  • Develop training programs for maintenance and facility staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Address any staff issues or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with all team members.
  1. SOP for Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
  • Provide safety training to maintenance and facility staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety activities.
  1. SOP for Documentation and Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all records are stored securely and accessible as needed.
  • Follow company policies and procedures for documentation and record keeping.
  1. SOP for Continuous Improvement:
  • Use data and feedback to identify areas for improvement in maintenance and facility operations.
  • Develop and implement action plans for improvement.
  • Monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of improvements.
  • Document all changes and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
