Easterwood Airport Management is on the lookout for a skilled professional to handle the maintenance and repair of various industrial machinery and vehicles within the airport setting. This role encompasses a wide range of tasks, from routine upkeep of vehicles and grounds maintenance tools to extensive repairs and refurbishments of industrial equipment. Responsibilities will also extend to electrical, plumbing, and facility maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; proven track record in identifying issues, crafting solutions, and ensuring resolution.
  • Demonstrate mechanical expertise: familiarity with the components and parts of intricate machinery and engines, along with the necessary tools for repairs.
  • Conduct regular maintenance activities such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication of machinery, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Support drivers in resolving any outstanding vehicle concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of time, parts used, and inspection checklists.
  • Possess the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machinery and vehicles effectively.
  • Disassemble, inspect, and replace worn or damaged components. Adjust and fit new or repaired parts as necessary.
  • Diagnose and repair various systems including engines, transmissions, clutches, electrical and pneumatic systems, gearboxes, hydraulics, cooling systems, exhausts, brakes, suspensions, lights, and more on a range of equipment, heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and other machinery.
  • Safely operate gauges, forklifts, tractors, torches, grinders, and a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Possess electrical knowledge and skills to perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and lighting safely.
  • General understanding and skills related to plumbing systems, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Building maintenance and repair tasks including fabrication, painting, and other general repairs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working with diverse industrial machinery and vehicles.
  • Proficient in documenting and tracking services using computer software systems.
  • Effective communication skills with all stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ASME certification.
