Position Summary:

As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ag Express Electronics, you will be responsible for providing visionary leadership and strategic direction to ensure the overall success and sustainable growth of the organization. Leveraging a diverse skill set, you will drive key initiatives, cultivate a high-performance culture, and oversee all aspects of corporate governance. From fostering innovation and navigating market dynamics to optimizing financial performance, you will lead a dedicated executive team and collaborate closely with the Board to make informed decisions that align with our company’s long-term objectives. With a strong focus on driving operational excellence, building robust relationships, and enhancing ESOP value, you will champion our company’s position in the market, guiding Ag Express Electronics toward continued success and industry leadership.


Essential Functions:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategic plan, aligning with ESOP goals.
  • Market Positioning: Identify and capitalize on market opportunities and competitive advantages.
  • Executive Management: Lead and empower the executive team to achieve strategic goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive innovation, foster a culture of improvement, and ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Financial Stewardship: Oversee financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
  • Governance and Compliance: Collaborate with the Board on governance, regulatory compliance, and policy development.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Relations: Manage relationships with key stakeholders and lead negotiations for strategic partnerships.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks across financial, operational, and strategic domains.
  • ESOP-Specific Responsibilities: Communicate and administer ESOP benefits effectively.
  • CSR Leadership: Lead CSR initiatives aligned with company values.


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong Leadership and Managerial Acumen: Demonstrate excellent managerial and financial skills with the ability to lead all business operations effectively, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Visionary Communication: Exceptional communication skills, adept at articulating a compelling vision and strategy to inspire and align teams, stakeholders, and investors towards common goals.
  • Comprehensive Business Acumen: Possess a deep understanding of management and financial practices across all facets and stages of business operations, from strategic planning and execution to financial management and risk assessment.


Education:

Bachelor’s Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, providing foundational knowledge in business management and technical expertise.

Master’s Degree (Preferred): Master’s degree in Engineering Management or a related advanced degree, enhancing strategic thinking and leadership capabilities in technical and business domains.

Certifications (Preferred): Preferred certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications, demonstrating proficiency in project management, process improvement methodologies, and industry best practices.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in the electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and growing a manufacturing business.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic plans that drive growth and profitability.
  • Comprehensive experience overseeing manufacturing operations, including production, supply chain management, and quality control.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Solid experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and make data-driven decisions to ensure fiscal health.
  • Experience working in or leading an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company.
  • Understanding of ESOP structure, regulations, and the benefits and challenges of employee ownership.
  • Demonstrated success in driving innovation, overseeing research and development efforts, and managing product lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Experience in identifying and mitigating business risks, including operational, financial, and strategic risks.
  • Experience working with a Board of Directors, providing strategic updates, and collaborating on governance issues.


Physical Requirements:

  • Seated Position: Ability to remain in a seated position for extended periods of time, with the capacity to alternate between sitting and standing as necessary.
  • Communication: Skill in exchanging accurate information with customers, co-workers, vendors, etc., utilizing verbal, written, and electronic communication methods.
  • Desk Work: Comfort with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer to perform administrative and operational tasks.
  • Lifting Limitation: Must be able to lift up-to 15-50 pounds occasionally as part of job responsibilities.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness and ability to travel as necessary for business engagements, meetings, and industry events.
  • Physical Mobility: Ability to navigate various departments and facilities within the organization's premises as part of operational oversight and engagement.
