Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Manager to join a growing team in the tech startup space. This individual will be responsible for leading human resources operations, building out the HR department, and handling all areas of HR, including employee relations, HRIS systems, payroll, onboarding, and compliance. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this role requires a high-energy, adaptable professional who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage all HR functions, including employee conflict resolution, benefits administration, onboarding/offboarding, payroll, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with external HR service providers (e.g., G&A Partners) to streamline HR operations.
  • Support hiring processes by coordinating job descriptions, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
  • Maintain and optimize HRIS systems; experience with platforms like Rippling is a plus.
  • Establish and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company objectives and growth.
  • Handle sensitive matters with professionalism and confidentiality.


Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of HR experience, preferably in tech startups or small-to-medium-sized companies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required; SHRM certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and compliance regulations.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Rippling, ADP, Paylocity) and employee lifecycle management.
  • Proven ability to work onsite in a fast-paced environment.
  • High energy, sociable, and adaptable personality.
