This is a full-time, on-site role located in Plano, TX. As a Carrier Sales - Refrigerated Truckload, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end operational process of securing refrigerated truckload carriers for our specialized food transportation solutions. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with carriers, negotiating pricing and contracts, tracking and managing carrier performance, and ensuring on-time delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service to our customers. Your attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success in this role.
- Prior experience in carrier sales or freight brokerage, preferably in the refrigerated truckload industry
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with carriers and internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask
- Knowledge of transportation management systems and industry regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
