Optomi, in partnership with a food manufacturing/agricultural leader, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for the Finance pillar in a full on-site position in Salisbury, MD. This candidate will have previous experience implementing CTRM systems and MS Dynamics. This Business Systems Analyst will have experience in waterfall and agile environments and a background supporting projects through the software development lifecycle.

  • Experience with Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience working with finance teams.
  • Knowledge in systems analysis, programming and systems development methodology.
  • Must possess strong communication, interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as the position requires direct communication with end users and business leaders.
  • Ability to travel occasionally, possibly overnight, to any customer area, which could be any company facility or to a remote site or to a training facility or conference.
  • Proficiency in software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.


Responsibilities:

  • Working with Business, blueprinting, designing, creating specifications for development.
  • Doing testing and configuration for the system as well.
  • Vendors & consulting partners – working through details of the system.
  • Dyco Trade and MS Dynamics are primary peripheral systems they will have integrations with. SAP, some transportation systems, scaling systems.
  • Primary architect of overall business processes and solution design in assigned functional area.
  • Coordinate project tasks with business team members and SMEs.
  • Responsible for requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Assist in fit/gap analysis, developing solutions to resolve gaps.
  • Oversight and execution of design, configuration, testing, training and cutover for commercial areas.
  • Responsible for creation and execution of test cases.
  • Responsible for creating and administering training for end users and super users.
  • Will continue post-project to support the business, maintain the system and processes and participate in upgrade and enhancement projects.
