We are looking for a seasoned, tenacious, critical-thinking senior/executive-level live-event producer to work alongside an established creative event visionary and oversee multiple aspects of client events and programs. You will ensure that goals and objectives are met while being a beacon of operational awesomeness.


We are known to create both in-person and virtual events that are engaging. All details are fully thought through so that each event experience is seamless.


You’re a great fit if this sounds like you…

  • Have several years of event and/or project management experience at an event company, marketing agency, experiential shop or on the client-side
  • Automotive training, PR and/or consumer event experience
  • Have oversaw both in-person and virtual events
  • Constantly have your finger on the pulse of what’s now and what’s next
  • Crazy attention to detail, without being crazy (or at least not too crazy)
  • You’ve got unshakable positivity from the moment you wake up
  • Entrepreneurial spirit—ability to work independently and with your team
  • You have the drive, resilience and creativity to do whatever it takes to get it done

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or Keynote and other industry-related technologies


Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll do...

  • Direct and manage pre-production team (from 2 to 5 Producers and Coordinators)
  • Direct and manage on-site event team (from 2 to 30 contract roles)
  • Conduct venue research, develop presentations, negotiate contracts, oversee participant registration, hotel room blocks and logistics
  • Create and manage budgets and production schedules/timelines
  • Develop and manage registration process and guest communications
  • Assist in content and development of event communications, presentations, signage, environment and other branding
  • Maintain established profitability goals
  • Plan and lead client meetings both in person and via conference calls
  • Manage client and vendor relationships
  • Work with Apex creative, staffing, logistics and accounting teams
  • Research and present creative event design options, venues, premiums, gifts
  • Plan and lead event site visits
  • Understand event objectives, client brand and client personalities
  • Anticipate needs and wants of clients - answer questions before asked
  • Set and maintain tone for the team - always calm under pressure
  • Travel can vary and may be up to 30-40% (dependent upon client event schedule and current health guidelines)
