Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role for a Construction Estimator at Parillon Brothers Construction Corp. located in Newark, NJ, with flexibility for some remote work. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for analyzing construction contracts and creating detailed estimates on the costs and resources needed for upcoming projects. They will also collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates are accurate and aligned with project needs. The Construction Estimator will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment to maintain and build relationships with clients and contractors, contributing to the growth of the company.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating and project management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in estimating projects
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software, such as Bluebeam, PlanHub, and PlanSwift
  • Proficiency in Payapps software
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications
  • Solid understanding of construction materials and techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
  • Ability to work both independently and in teams to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred
  • Professional certifications, such as the Certified Construction Estimator (CCE) and Project Management Professional (PMP), are also advantageous
  • A background in Construction Project Management is preferred.


To be considered for this role, applicants must be able to regularly commute to the Newark, NJ area. Position may be made hybrid based after discretion.
