Summary
Ability to take off materials, equipment, and labor according to established standards via estimating software, establish pricing levels, assemble and publish the company’s quotation for projects, and follow up with customers on bid status for both HVAC and plumbing construction contracts. The candidate will be required to work in both the Plan/Spec and Design/Build markets. The estimator will also participate in implementing change orders during the project.

- Facilitating seamless communication among customers, our dynamic sales force, and internal teams, foster strong relationships and ensure clarity and alignment at every stage.
- Provide unparalleled customer support and guidance, deliver exceptional service and exceed expectations with every interaction.
- Offer invaluable expertise in selecting the optimal equipment solutions, tailored to meet and exceed client needs and expectations.
- Stay ahead of the curve in industry innovations and product advancements, ensure our solutions are cutting-edge and future-proof.
- Collaborate closely with vendors and manufacturers to deliver outstanding results, leverage strong partnerships to enhance project outcomes and client satisfaction.
Education, Qualities & Skills required
- Minimum 2-year degree and 5 years HVAC/Plumbing estimation experience.
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD®, MS Office products, and possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Previous experience in designing HVAC or plumbing projects a plus.
- Must be able to complete drawings as needed.
- Must have familiarity with a wide variety of HVAC / Plumbing equipment, materials and methods of installation and possess strong organizational and leadership skills.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not oversee any direct reports.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee might be required to visit job site and may be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk and hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:00AM – 5:00PM
Travel
Travel to different job sites is required.
