Job Description:

Lorimar Vineyards and Winery is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Development Representative to join our team, with the potential for this role to evolve into a full-time position based on performance and business needs. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through the acquisition of new wedding and event clients while maintaining exceptional relationships with existing clients. This position will start at 20-25 hours per week and candidates must be available to work weekends.


Responsibilities:

- Generate new leads and prospects through proactive outreach efforts, including cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and referrals

- Conduct thorough consultations with prospective clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget requirements for weddings and events

- Present tailored proposals and packages to clients, showcasing the unique offerings and amenities of Lorimar Vineyards and Winery as a premier event venue

- Collaborate closely with the coordinator and events planning team to ensure seamless execution of events and exceed client expectations

- Communicate effectively with the coordinator to ensure that clients' requests are accurately understood and followed through on

- Utilize CRM software to track and manage leads, opportunities, and client interactions throughout the sales cycle

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to effectively position Lorimar Vineyards and Winery as a top choice for weddings and events

- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand the reach and visibility of Lorimar Vineyards and Winery within the events market



Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field preferred

- 2-3 years of proven success in a sales role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

- Experience in the wedding or events industry is highly desirable

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to sales

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite

- Passion for hospitality, wine, and creating memorable experiences for clients
