The Regional Kitchen Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of food operations across multiple locations in the San Antonio and Austin area. This leadership position holds accountability for culinary excellence and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Director of Culinary, the incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless culinary operations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining consistent BOH financial performance, meeting cost and inventory targets.
  • Directly collaborates with management on ordering and effective inventory management.
  • Recruits, trains, and develops BOH teams across all locations.
  • Collaborates with management teams to ensure optimal BOH staffing and scheduling.
  • Ensures kitchen organization and cleanliness standards are consistently met across all locations.
  • Works with the Culinary Director and operations team on food showings, recipe development, new menu rollouts, and product/equipment testing.
  • Supports training and openings of new locations.
  • Collaborates with marketing and events teams to ensure food execution surpasses guest expectations.
  • Fosters a collaborative and open communication environment, encouraging the sharing of ideas.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of culinary fundamentals.
  • 2+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience in a food-forward environment.
  • Texas Food Handlers Certificate.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the San Antonion and Austin area and for out-of-town openings and events.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • In-depth knowledge of successful BOH operations.
  • People-focused leader with the ability to build high-quality kitchen teams.
  • Collaborative working style.
  • Self-motivated; thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Open and inclusive thinker who embraces diverse ideas.
  • Ability to organize, manage, and complete multiple projects efficiently and on-time with tight deadlines.
  • Must reside in the San Antonio or Austin area.
