About the Role:

As a key member of the ASM Global team, the Kitchen Supervisor will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in supervising and coordinating the activities of the kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of menu items, ensuring that food is prepared in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure that appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served.
  • Manage kitchen staff in a professional and efficient manner, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met, and that the kitchen is maintained in a clean and organized state.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to develop and implement strategies for improving kitchen efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests receive high-quality food and beverages in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with kitchen staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Three years' experience in a fast-paced culinary environment.
  • Knowledge of food preparation, proper knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to understand and execute recipes, menus, and production sheets.
  • Exceptional leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Current Serve Safe food handlers permit.
