Job Title: Associate Principal Vendor Relations Specialist

Location: St Louis, Missouri (must be able to be onsite at least 2x a month for team meetings.


Job Summary

Our client is seeking a skilled Associate Principal Vendor Relations Specialist to join their team and support the IT business functions through effective negotiation, contract management, and risk mitigation.


This role involves managing and negotiating a wide range of contracts and agreements, as well as providing guidance during audits and due diligence efforts. The ideal candidate will perform their duties in alignment with the company's mission, values, and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and negotiate complex legal agreements for IT needs, including software purchase, professional services, commercialization, business associate, and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Support due diligence efforts for acquisitions and divestitures to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Provide guidance to IT business units during internal and external audits.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to IT operations and strategic planning.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as directed by the Director of the Vendor Management Office.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5-7 years of experience in IT contract review and negotiation.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience in a procurement environment.
  • Familiarity with Information Technology and related business operations.
  • Background in the healthcare industry.
