Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Account Executive at Whitco Roofing Inc. in Orlando, FL. The Account Executive will be responsible for managing client accounts, developing new business opportunities, preparing proposals, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves regular client meetings, project coordination, and collaboration with internal teams for successful project delivery.


Schedule: Monday - Friday


Responsibilities & Duties

  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales customers.
  • Identify market trends and maintain awareness of competitive activity in the roofing industry.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships with a focus on customer service as a key priority for business referrals and repeat business.
  • Create project take-offs based on existing field conditions.
  • Compile project submittals for specified projects.
  • Provide roofing information including price, quality, and point-of-sale materials.
  • Resolve customer orders, inquiries, and problems effectively.
  • Proactively understand competitor activities and continually evaluate our marketing, pricing, and selling strategies.
  • Work closely with the estimating and operations departments to provide accurate information for the creation of proposals and project completion.
  • Keep sales management informed by submitting activity and results reports through sales tracking software.


Minimum Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively as required.
  • Demonstrated tenacity and drive to sell, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in mathematics and computer applications essential for the role.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and experience in sales tracking.
  • Resilience in overcoming rejections and effectively driving the sales process.
