Job Description:

MW Partners is currently seeking a Trade Operations Analyst to work for our client who is a global leader in multimedia and creativity software products.


Responsibilities and duties:

  • Perform Denied Parties Screening to align with U.S. export and other legal requirements
  • Worldwide import/export clearance support
  • Commercial Invoice Review
  • Update and maintain SOPs and Internal Compliance Manual
  • Work with key business partners such as Order Management, Procurement, Legal, and eCommerce to ensure compliance with new business initiatives
  • Represent Trade Operations on cross-functional teams as needed
  • Perform periodic risk assessments to identify gaps in processes, drive automation, and improve processes wherever possible
  • Reviews and approves freight payables
  • Handles loss and damages claims
  • Vendor and Broker management


Requirements:

  • BA/BS or proven experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Export Laws and Regulations
  • Experience working with domestic and international freight forwarders
  • Experience with SAP GTS or similar Export Management Systems a plus
  • Experience with Harmonized Tariff Schedule and essentials of import and export activities
  • Project Management skills a plus
  • Software industry experience beneficial
  • Experience with global, multinational companies
  • Experience working with a geographically dispersed team is beneficial
  • Proven flexibility in dynamic environments and ability to adapt to shifting priorities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Good written communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of an organization
  • Good written and spoken English is required
