Summary
A rapidly growing renewable fuel manufacturer is looking to bring on a new Reliability Engineer for their site in the Greater Lincoln area. This is a newly created position and they are open to a variety of engineering backgrounds/industries.
Responsibilities
- Drives continuous improvement through proactive reliability practices, leveraging systems to redesign behaviors and enhance efficiency.
- Utilizes CMMS extensively for work order management, scheduling, procurement, inventory, and data-driven decision-making.
- Provides expert input from equipment history and root cause analysis to support reliability activities.
- Manages maintenance backlog with long-range planning, using KPIs to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
- Promotes a collaborative team environment, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations while maintaining confidentiality of company records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Preferably 3 years of planning and scheduling experience in a large-scale industrial continuous process manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures for various processing equipment including evaporators, heat exchangers, centrifuges, boilers, conveyors, and electrical systems.
- Experience in project management or project engineering is advantageous.
- Formal training or certifications in planning and scheduling are preferred.
