Job Purpose

Utilize technical expertise to identify asset reliability risks and create/manage strategies to improve asset availability

Key Accountabilities
  • Create, implement and manage predictive maintenance program to ensure equipment availability.
  • Create, implement and manage a life cycle strategy to ensure equipment availability at optimal cost.  
  • Develop capability of self and team through training to foster reliability culture.
  • Investigate, learn and implement new or existing technology to improve asset performance.  
  • Utilize data analysis and customer feedback to identify potential problems and develop countermeasures to reduce impact to SQCDME (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale, and Environmental).  
  • Support facilitation of cross function team analysis activities to identify criticality, failure mode and root cause to improve/sustain asset reliability. 
  • Review equipment downtime reporting data to ensure completeness and accuracy. 
  • Collaborate and communicate equipment activities with internal/external departments to understand change points and adopt best practices that will improve equipment reliability. 
  • Confirm spare parts accuracy and availability to achieve MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time between Failures) targets. 
  • Support equipment specification design and acceptance to improve equipment MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time between Failures) characteristics.
     
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience

  • 0 to 6 years of technical experience with Asset Management or Industrial Maintenance or other comparable Engineering disciplines.

Other Skills

  • MS office products
  • Ability to lead meetings  
  • Able to troubleshoot and repair equipment 
  • Able to utilize analytic tools and methods
  • Technical background in either maintenance or engineering experience on equipment used at HDMA-AAP. 
Working Conditions
  • Office and production 
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as required. 
  • Must be willing to travel as needed. 
  • Must be willing to work overtime if needed.
