Job Overview

Position Summary: The Infrastructure Automation Engineer will collaborate closely with the Development and Engineering teams to architect, configure, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to fulfill security, availability, reliability, and performance standards during code releases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and sustain CI/CD pipelines across diverse applications and environments. Offer best practices to Development and Engineering teams for effective monitoring, building, testing, and deploying code to production.
  • Foster relationships with business and technology stakeholders to cultivate a robust DevOps culture.
  • Develop scripts to automate and enhance the deployment of infrastructure and applications.
  • Remain informed about the latest trends and innovations in automation and DevOps, acting as an advocate for automation and high engineering standards throughout the organization.
  • Support technical teams in troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines and participate in an on-call support rotation for escalated issues.
  • Core Technology Stack:
    • On-Premise: VMware
    • Cloud: Azure
    • CI/CD: Azure DevOps
    • Operating Systems: Linux and Windows
  • Adhere to the bank's policies, procedures, and strategies to deliver efficient and effective service to both internal and external customers.
  • Make informed policy and operational decisions within designated authority levels and parameters.
  • Contribute to and maintain written policies, programs, procedure manuals, surveys, and training materials for the organization.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure compliance with service levels and contract obligations.
  • Understand and comply with all bank policies, laws, and regulations relevant to the role. Complete compliance training and follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report any compliance issues or violations of laws or regulations according to the established procedures in bank policies.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is a fundamental aspect of this position.
  • Perform additional job-related duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Three to five years of relevant industry experience preferred.
  • Microsoft certifications are advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license is required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep/Arm templates.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
  • Proactive self-starter.
  • Eager to learn and grow.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Independent with sound judgment.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize projects effectively.

Work Environment:

Primarily indoor work with occasional exposure to outdoor elements or hazards.

Medium workload – lifting and/or carrying up to 20 pounds frequently and exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally.

Some travel may be required.

This role is eligible for hybrid work-from-home opportunities under the work-from-home guidelines upon completion of onboarding.
