This global leader in sustainable energy storage is seeking an experienced Equipment Technician to join their team and provide upkeep, repair, and maintenance to their robotic machines and electro-mechanical equipment of the facility structure to support manufacturing needs and continue operation efforts. Duties may involve planning, performing, and coordinating facility repairs as well as manufacturing capability expansion in support of company objectives.


REQUIREMENTS

*Associate degree in Electronic or Mechanical Technology, or equivalent experience.

*1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably involving mechatronics, automation, and related control software.

*Proficiency with common hand and power tools including hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, precision measuring instruments, and electronic testing devices.

*Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

*Excellent oral and written communication skills.

*Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

*Capable of installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment.

*Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.

*Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays.

*Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.

*Adherence to job-required standards and safety protocols, following predefined processes.

*Must comply with OSHA regulations regarding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

*Experience working in a manufacturing environment with shifting daily priorities.

*Experience with new product introduction and scaling to manufacturing.


JOB DUTIES

*Ensure machinery is maintained for maximum uptime and production availability.

*Regularly perform Lock-out Tag-out procedures in accordance with company policies.

*Conduct routine preventive maintenance on production equipment, jigs, and fixtures.

*Repair or replace faulty equipment, reassemble, and validate performance before returning to production.

*Diagnose electro-mechanical issues and determine solutions by consulting blueprints, electrical schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.

*Complete work requests in line with manufacturing expectations.

*Source parts or equipment from current suppliers, OEM options, or in-house stock.

*Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and robotic equipment.

*Set up, wire, program, and diagnose PLCs and related components.

*Monitor automated system performance, checking for trends and potential issues.

*Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.

*Work with external suppliers to support repairs and upgrades.

*Cross-train peers to follow optimal process procedures.

*Update system manuals and maintenance and operating procedures.

*Participate in various plant improvement programs, including Variability Reduction, *Preventive Maintenance, Process Improvement, and Health & Safety.

*Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety and environmental protocols.


SCHEDULE

*4 days/12 hr shifts

*Day Shift. Alternating shifts: Thursday – Sunday AND Friday - Sunday, 6:00am - 6:00pm


EMPLOYER NOTES

*Training will be on day shift for the first 1-3 months.

*%10 Shift differential will be added to hourly pay once shift transitions to 2nd shift (swing/graveyard) after training.
