Brookwood Baptist Medical Center is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team in Birmingham, Alabama. As an Electrophysiology Technician, you will assist physicians in the Electrophysiology laboratory during intra-cardiac EP studies and pacemaker implants, ensuring the collection and interpretation of accurate data.

• Operate various equipment to monitor blood pressure, oxygen level, electrocardiograms, and pressure in chambers and vessels in the heart.
• Prepare patients for electrophysiology studies and pacemaker follow-up in clinic, setting up all necessary monitors and equipment.
• Adhere to hospital and department policies, procedures, and objectives, performing other duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an approved Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist or Cardiovascular Technician program or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• 1 year of cardiology experience.
• BLS certification.
