The Phillip Charles Group is looking for an Outside Sales Representative for our Southfield Territory. The Phillip Charles Group is a full service-staffing firm, providing Contract, Contract-To-Hire and Direct Hire staffing services in the logistics, supply chain, accounting, human resources, customer service, administrative and general office services area of the staffing industry.


As an Outside Sales Representative with The Phillip Charles Group, you will be representing our staffing service to prospective and client companies in your designated territory.

Outside Sales Representative Duties:

  • Conduct in person cold calls for lead generation.
  • Schedule and conduct 12-20 face-to-face meetings weekly (in person and via Zoom).
  • Build and strategize target account list.
  • Manage large territory both geographically and through sales funnel.
  • Communicate with Recruiting team pertinent information about clients and prospects.
  • Work collaboratively with recruiting team to fill job orders.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and prospects.
  • Resolve customer service issues and field employee issues quickly and effectively.
  • Complete all weekly reports timely.
  • Complete all data entry based on individual activity daily.
  • Maintain current client relationships while developing new clients.
  • Identify and work with recruiting sources in your sales territory.


Outside Sales Representative Skills:

  • Understanding of the sales process

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Time management skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks

  • Ability to draw a direct correlation between efforts and results


Outside Sales Representative Requirements:

  • Retail Sales or Retail Management or Key Holder experience
  • Banking at the retail or teller level or customer service
  • Business-to-Business Sales or Recruiting Experience is a plus
