Qualifications:

  • 5 years of revenue cycle experience focused on Collections, Follow up and Billing
  • Experience with Claim Edits.
  • Experience with Denials.
    • Need full-lifecycle experience working denials from start to resolution
  • Experience with Appeals.
    • ​​​​​​​Need full-lifecycle experience working appeals from start to resolution, creating appeals letters, etc.
  • Experience with Athena software
  • Need experience working claims, doing collections/follow-up using IDX Athena system
  • Experience with both commercial and government payers
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Possesses a proactive and metrics driven approach
  • Understanding of most effective ways to handle work-queues
  • Proven experience clearing 80+ accounts per day

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with New York State claims
  • Experience working with cancer claims
  • Experience working with transplant claims
