POSITION TITLE: Development Intern 


ORGANIZATION SUMMARY: Galehead is the leading upstream technology and services platform for planning, management, and delivery of greenfield development pipeline for the Energy Transition. Since its founding in 2016, Galehead has deployed its proprietary LandCommand® technology and specialized upstream platform to develop more than 15 GW of solar, storage, and wind projects under active development by Galehead and its Downstream Partners including Tyr Energy Development, EDF, Clearway, Rev Renewables, Steelhead, Engie, and Longroad.


The Boston-based organization is looking for an undergraduate intern for the Project Development Team.


Hours: ~30-40 hrs/wk

Location: Remote


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Documentation on LandCommand processes, software, data analysis and roadmap for future development, 
  • Secure, process, and streamline Landowner Letter of Intent process on inbound leads, can include GIS analysis, LandCommand, and Google Earth work
  • Documenting and understanding land permitting process with local, county, state guidelines in addition to utility interconnection process research
  • Support in submitting interconnection application to utilities in various markets
  • Build, forecast and manage project and development schedules
  • Synthesize data and analyze trends in active markets
  • Supporting Project Development Team on project management as required
  • Ad-hoc duties can include proposal writing, editing, outbound land owner interactions, landowner contact information gathering, database work, documenting Salesforce CRM, etc.
