Overview:

We are seeking a proactive Risk Manager to ensure compliance and manage technical risks within our operations. This role collaborates closely with corporate teams to uphold industry standards and safeguard our operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with technology and operations teams to implement policies and practices, minimizing operational risks.
  • Identify and report vulnerabilities, overseeing their remediation within corporate timelines and ensuring long-term compliance and stability.
  • Prepare executive-level reports on outstanding risks and remediation plans, presenting findings to management.
  • Review and approve exceptions to remediation requirements or policies, aligning with risk management framework.
  • Manage task documentation and timelines to support risk remediation efforts and compliance initiatives.
  • Maintain an inventory of applications and components, ensuring adherence to scanning protocols.
  • Support and guide employees in completing risk surveys and compliance documentation.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical risk management and remediation leadership.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project/Smartsheet and Visio.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with technical teams and communicate complex issues clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Power BI.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related fields.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Educate employees on policies and new initiatives.
  • Manage Business Continuity and assist with Disaster Recovery planning and testing.
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with corporate risk training.
  • Oversee Vendor Risk Management and onboarding processes.
  • Conduct training sessions on risk management and compliance for team members.
  • Some travel may be required.
