Position (looking for 5 years of applicable experience):


*Your Industry experience can be automotive, aviation, electronic component manufacturing, etc).


You role involves assuring the product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards.


You will develop and implement quality plans, processes, and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses.


You will review, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for non-conformances.


You will oversee Operations Quality within your prescribed area of functional responsibility and will be working as part of a team to maintain high quality / performance standards on all products.


You will have an understanding of contract management and deep knowledge in electronics, and have implemented quality methodologies such as DMAIC, 5S, and continuous improvement.


You will have used some combination of key quality tools, including PPAP/FAI, SPC, Control Plans, FMEA, and APQP, to drive process optimization and ensure product reliability.



Responsibilities:

  • Monitor internal and external PPM levels, conduct root cause analyses, and define corrective actions.
  • Lead cross functional teams to conduct root cause analysis on both internal and external quality issues and formulate resolutions in a timely manner; and to ensure the implementation and effectiveness of actions and prevent problems from reoccurring
  • Provide support to reduce internal PPM and COPQ.
  • Handle customer and inter-company complaints through internal and external portals.
  • Prepare 8D reports, conduct root cause analyses, define corrective actions, and verify their effectiveness.
  • Support the development of FMEAs, Control Plans, Test and Inspection Plans
  • Provides material review dispositions for non-conforming materials or products
  • Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of products to verify conformance with specifications and deliverables


Experience:

  • 5 years of applicable in an engineering/quality role.
  • Working knowledge of Problem-Solving tools (8D at the minimum), DMAIC, or PDCA
  • Basic Knowledge of process improvement techniques and methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, Lean) and quality tools (e.g. SPC, Capability Analysis, GRR, and FMEA, CP, PPAP, FAI, and Safe Launch).
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or ISO/TS 16949 QMS standards
  • Experience with IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, MIL- STD-883 or Equivalent STD
  • Ability to interface effectively internally and externally.
