Quality Assurance and Engineering Specialist

Vector CSP LLC is a leading provider of engineering and technical support services to the USCG Integrated Product Team (IPT). We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance and Engineering Specialist to join our team.
About the RoleWe estimate that this position will be paid around $90,000 per year, based on industry standards for similar roles in the area. As a Quality Assurance and Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for providing engineering, integration, and technical services to outfit Coast Guard cutters with C5I systems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples.
- Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release.
- Calibrate, validate, or maintain laboratory equipment.
- Ensure that lab cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
- Possess a high school diploma/GED, related military experience, or trade/industrial school graduate.
- Five years of experience solving technical problems.
- Trained in the skills and techniques related to engineering and/or software design/maintenance.
- Possess a practical understanding of engineering/software concepts.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, for effectively conveying information to stakeholders and team members.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation, processes, and deliverables while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
