Contract: 3 Months

Location: Remote/ Orlando, FL

Pay: $20-29/ hourly depending on experience

As a Project Coordinator on the team, you will assist with communications activities related to our data analytics upskilling training program and department-wide communications related activities. You will also assist with the coordination, planning, and on-site execution of the annual Conference.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with messaging and communications for 20+ data analytics upskilling courses.
  • Help execute internal department communication plans and department-wide initiatives.
  • Support communications with conference attendees.
  • Support event logistics, such as registration, transportation, and accommodations.
  • Assist with the coordination of all aspects of the conference based on guidance provided by DDAC planning team members.
  • Support the planning team and content subcommittee through the presentation content review processes.
  • Support sponsorship sales based on guidance from the sponsorship lead, including contract management and responding to sponsor inquiries

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year of experience performing corporate communications, project management, or event management.
  • The ideal candidate should have excellent communications skills, the ability to multitask, and be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, project management, hospitality management, or a related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Communication sites.
  • Experience using Smartsheet.
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator and/or InDesign.
  • Experience planning events in a corporate setting.
