Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced cannabis Bulk Sales Representative to join our team. As a Bulk Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in the cannabis industry by establishing and nurturing relationships with clients in the bulk market.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and sell bulk flower and packaged goods from our Sacramento facility.
  • Report to the VP of Bulk Sales, collaborating closely with cultivation, packaging, and distribution teams.
  • Develop and implement a B2B strategy for bulk flower, including managing clients, closing sales, and understanding bulk product nuances.
  • Identify and contact potential business partners, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Seek and manage bulk orders and purchases.
  • Establish and maintain long-term business relationships.
  • Oversee showroom scheduling and viewings.
  • Coordinate daily menus of bulk flower on the website.
  • Maintain dynamic pricing models based on quality and potency.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with business partners and vendors.
  • Develop and achieve sales objectives.
  • Review sales figures and performance metrics.
  • Analyze and develop strategies to maximize sales.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of field bulk sales experience.
  • Established book of business in the cannabis industry.
  • Demonstrated success in closing sales and moving product.
  • Proven experience in building and managing a successful bulk sales program.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to collaborate with multiple departments and customers.
  • Solid relationships within the California cannabis market.
  • Track record of setting and driving strategic sales initiatives in a start-up, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with distributor management and contract/vendor negotiations.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to be both engaging and persuasive.
  • Highly organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.


Salary

$70,000 + commission


Supervisory Responsibility

This position may have some supervisory responsibilities.


Working Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.


Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Will have regular and constant exposure to raw cannabis flower and a variety of cannabis products.
