The Opportunity

We are looking for an accomplished Operations Manager to join our leadership team. The role will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our company's operational functions, with a specific focus on onboarding, relationship management, and training. This role requires a strategic thinker, a problem solver, and a leader who can drive efficiency, enhance processes, and ensure the highest level of service to our valued employees and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Strategy: Develop and execute an operational strategy that aligns with our mission and supports the unique needs of Financial Advisors, RIAs, and BD firms. Continuously evaluate industry trends and client requirements to refine the strategy.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Build and manage a high-performing operations team dedicated to serving our partners.
  • Process Optimization: Streamline and enhance operational processes, workflows, and systems to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance. Ensure seamless onboarding and support for our partner firms.
  • Partner Engagement: Establish strong relationships with Financial Advisors, RIAs, and BD firms, serving as a trusted point of contact for operational matters. Collaborate closely with partners to understand their unique requirements and tailor our services accordingly.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Implement and maintain robust compliance and risk management protocols to ensure that our operations adhere to all regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to our partners.
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors and strategic partners to optimize service delivery, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships effectively.
  • Financial Oversight: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis for the operations department, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability while delivering exceptional value to our partners.
  • Technology Integration: Drive the integration of cutting-edge technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and the overall partner experience.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting mechanisms to monitor and analyze operational performance, providing actionable insights to senior management and partners.


Qualifications, skills, and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience in operations within the financial services industry, with a strong focus on onboarding, relationship management, and/or training.
  • Experience working for an RIA or wealth management technology platform.
  • Experience working with Financial Advisors, RIAs, and BD firms.
  • Experience managing operations teams a big plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management, especially as it pertains in the financial services space.
  • Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Must have the ambition, drive, and work ethic to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • A commitment to the highest ethical standards and a client-centric approach to service.
