The BAS/HVAC Project Manager, based in the greater Boston, MA area, operates on a hybrid schedule in the Andover, MA office and the field. Their role involves planning, directing, and coordinating activities of multiple project teams to ensure timely accomplishment of project goals and objectives within or below estimated costs, and timely billing throughout the project duration.



Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full life cycle of BAS/ATC large capital construction projects, from initial design to commissioning and owner sign-off.
  • Utilizing in-depth HVAC, electrical, and automatic temperature controls knowledge to guide customers through solutions-based problem-solving.
  • Driving technical solutions for building control systems and addressing owner/end user concerns as a technical resource.
  • Planning, scheduling, and forecasting workforce and resource requirements, and managing all project documentation, billing, and revenue forecasts.
  • Reviewing estimates and change orders, managing budgets, preparing financial reports, and overseeing installation subcontractor bidding and negotiation.
  • Organizing and maintaining project contract documents in line with Schneider Electric’s quality policy, and delivering final project documentation to customers.



The qualifications for success in this role include a Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering field, 5+ years of Building Automation experience and HVAC Controls, experience working on projects onsite with customers, and construction accounting and finance knowledge to manage the life cycle of large capital projects.


This position demands a strong technical background, project management expertise, and financial acumen within the construction and building automation domain.
